1. Primarily used as a film-forming agent in water-based coatings. It acts as a coagulant for acrylic resins, styrene-acrylic resins, and polyvinyl acetate in coatings, imparting excellent performance to the film. It is an effective and easily applicable film-forming agent for achieving hardness in numerous water-based coatings.
2. Also used in water-based inks, household cleaners, wet wipes, paint removers, resin synthesis, dyes, solvents for oils and lubricants, textiles, cosmetics, stabilizers for agricultural pesticides, coagulants for floor polishes, PVC liquid heat stabilizers, etc.
3. In cleaning agents, it is suitable for systems requiring low evaporation rates, such as wax removers and floor cleaners. It is an excellent coupling agent for lubricants and greases and can also be used in paint strippers and animal fat removers.
